Buzz has signed a contract for his sixth novel, When Heroes Flew (nee Oregon Grinder), with Severn River Publishing. It’s a tale that’s completely different from anything he’s written previously. Prepare yourself to ride along in the cockpit of an American WWII B-24 bomber, Oregon Grinder, as it thunders toward Ploesti, Romania, from Benghazi, Libya, on a legendary raid on Nazi petroleum facilities. You’ll become enmeshed in the lives of Oregon Grinder’s young Army Air Force pilot, a determined Luftwaffe fighter pilot, and an adventurous aviatrix from the Women’s Auxiliary Flying Squadron (WAFS). In the wake of the raid, their lives collide in a life and death struggle over the Ionian Sea.
